UFRAD BOARD OF DIRECTORS HELD ITS MAY 2026 MEETING AT ISTANBUL AYDIN UNIVERSITY

The May 2026 Board of Directors Meeting of UFRAD Franchising Association was held on May 13, 2026, at Istanbul Aydın University, hosted by UFRAD President Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın.

Prior to the Board Meeting, UFRAD officials met with Mr. İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc., and his team to review the outcomes of Franchise Istanbul Expo, which was successfully held between April 16–19, 2026. During the meeting, the parties evaluated the exhibition’s contributions to the franchising sector, participant and visitor feedback, and potential areas for future collaboration. Preparations and planning processes for the next edition of Franchise Istanbul Expo were also discussed.

The subsequent Board Meeting focused on the Association’s ongoing activities, recent developments in the franchising sector, and key priorities for the coming period. Board members also exchanged views on projects aimed at supporting the growth of the sector and discussed UFRAD’s future objectives.

The meeting concluded following comprehensive discussions on the agenda items and initiatives aimed at supporting the sustainable development of the franchising industry.
