
UFRAD PARTICIPATED IN TÜSİAD’S GLOBAL RETAIL TRENDS MEETING
On July 11, 2025, the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) held the launch meeting of the “Future of the Retail Market and Global Trends Report” at the TÜSİAD Headquarters in Tepebaşı, Istanbul. Representing the UFRAD Franchising Association, Vice President Mr. Osman Faik Bilge and Board Member Mr. M. Nezif Emek attended the event.
During the meeting, a comprehensive report prepared in collaboration with EY-Parthenon was presented to the public, outlining six major global trends affecting the retail industry. The report’s key topics included next-generation consumer expectations, omnichannel retail models, artificial intelligence and automation integration, sustainability, supply chain resilience, and new workforce practices.
Following the meeting, the UFRAD delegation held one-on-one discussions with TÜSİAD executives and sector representatives, emphasizing the strategic importance and sectoral contributions of the franchising system. UFRAD also proposed the inclusion of franchise-specific content in the upcoming phases of TÜSİAD’s detailed retail sector analyses.
