THE 10TH WORLD HALAL SUMMIT WAS HELD IN ISTANBUL

The 10th World Halal Summit was held in Istanbul from November 27–30, 2024, under cover of the Presidency. The summit brought together leading figures from the halal products and services sector, providing an important platform to foster global collaborations and discuss innovative approaches in the industry. Süleyman Tarakçı, UFRAD Board Member and Chairman Board of Nalia Karadeniz Mutfağı, participated in the summit on behalf of UFRAD.

During the summit, the global development of halal products and services was discussed, with a particular focus on expanding halal certification in the franchising sector and developing reliable standardization processes. The summit also provided a significant opportunity for both local and international brands to develop strategies to increase their presence in the halal market.

This comprehensive event highlighted Turkey’s strategic importance in the halal products and services sector while strengthening Istanbul’s role as a meeting point in this field.
