STRATEGIC COOPERATION BETWEEN UFRAD AND IFA FOR THE FRANCHISE INDUSTRY

The online meeting was held between UFRAD and International Franchise Association (IFA). Mr. Alan Catlett CEO of IFA, Mr. Monty Moss Partnership Director of IFA and UFRAD Board Member Mr. Gürkan Donat attended the meeting. During the meeting, the status of the franchising sector in the US and Turkey after the pandemic was discussed and global changes in the sector were evaluated. The collaboration potentials were discussed while defining the similar trends and threats for both of country.

IFA announced that it has developed a business-oriented concept in parallel with UFRAD’s successful fair model by deciding to grow in franchise fairs in the coming period. In this manner, joint collaborations were on the agenda for fair where will realize in Miami on May 9-10,2025. At the same time, information was provided for the Franchise Istanbul Expo fair, which will take place on February 5-8, 2025.

During the fruitful meeting, it was decided to continue the cooperation and discussions between the two organizations. Details of the meeting will be shared with members at UFRAD’s next roundtable meeting.
