THE JANUARY BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING WAS HOSTED BY GÖNÜL KAHVESİ

The first Board of Directors meeting of 2025 was held on January 15, 2025, at the Hilltown AVM Rily Brasserie, hosted by UFRAD Board Member and Gönül Kahvesi CEO, Mr. Kemal Yardımcı. During the meeting, the franchise sector’s performance in 2024 was evaluated, and preparations for the Franchise Istanbul Expo 2025, scheduled to take place from February 5-8, 2025, were discussed.

Franchise Istanbul Expo 2025 will bring together national and international investors, franchising brands, and entrepreneurs under one roof, further positioning Türkiye as a global powerhouse in the franchise sector. The fair will serve as a dynamic bridge for regional trade, showcasing the latest business models, strong brands, and investment opportunities.

The meeting comprehensively discussed the opportunities the fair will provide. With hundreds of participants and thousands of visitors, the event aims to help Turkish franchise brands expand into international markets and strengthen the presence of global brands in the Turkish market. Franchise Istanbul Expo 2025 will be the center for strategic partnerships, new market openings, and sustainable growth, creating a transformative impact in the franchise ecosystem.

Additionally, the 2025 goals and strategic plans were reviewed during the meeting. While UFRAD continues to accelerate preparations for the Franchise Istanbul Expo, it aims to enhance Türkiye’s success in service exports and elevate the franchise sector to the next level.
