
UFRAD PARTICIPATED IN THE “ORMANDAYIZ” EVENT ORGANIZED BY THE GASTRONOMY TOURISM ASSOCIATION
The “Ormandayız” event, organized by the Gastronomy Tourism Association with the aim of protecting nature and local values, was held on Wednesday, July 30, at Istanbul Life Park Izoletta. The event, attended by industry representatives, local producers, non-governmental organizations, and the public, aimed to raise awareness about environmental consciousness and sustainability.
UFRAD Franchising Association participated in the event, represented by UFRAD Board Member Mr. Ercan Yılmaz.
During the program, the effects of forest fires on geographically indicated products were discussed in detail, along with critical topics such as the impact of global warming on gastronomy tourism and the protection of local producers. Additionally, the event featured presentations of geographically indicated products from different regions of Turkey, highlighting the importance of local culture and production within gastronomy tourism.
