5 – 8 FEBRUARY FRANCHISE ISTANBUL EXPO UFRAD SEMINARS
As in every fair, detailed information about the Franchise system was provided to participants through various topics at the UFRAD Seminars this year.
The first seminar on “The Journey of Brands Expanding Abroad” was held by Osman F. Bilge, Chairman of the Board of Franchise & More and General Secretary of UFRAD. Following that, the second seminar on “How Should We Legally Protect Our Brands?” was held by Av. Süleyman Soysal, Founder of Soysal Law Office and Board Member of UFRAD.
On the second day of the UFRAD Seminars, a panel titled “The Importance of Financial Management in the Franchise System” was conducted with the participation of M. Nezif Emek, Chairman of the Board of Rasyotax Auditing and Consultancy A.Ş., Erol Işık, Chairman of the Executive Board of De Fermo Group, and Ali İhsan Tuğ, General Manager of Armiya Technology, moderated by İlhan Erkan, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Board of IEF&D.
Another seminar on the second day, titled “Turkish Döner is Conquering the World,” was moderated by M. Nezif Emek, Board Member and President of the International Döner Federation, with the participation of Cuma Dağlı, Board Member of Maydonoz Döner, Gökhan Durmaz, General Manager of Bursa Kebap Evi, and Elif Attepe, Secretary General of the Reliable Product Platform.
The final seminar of the second day was on the topic “Opportunities in Iran,” conducted by Mohammed Ali Molaei, Board Member of the Iran Franchise Association.
On the third day of the seminars, the topic “Technology Use in Franchise Businesses” was presented by Özgen Kart, Board Member of UFRAD and Deputy General Manager of Armiya Technology.
The next seminar, titled “The Importance of Standards in Franchise Systems,” was held by Can Sepkin, Founder of CS Consulting.
Finally, the last seminar of the event, “Management Consulting and Franchising Relationship,” was conducted by İlhan Erkan, Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Board of IEF&D, with the participation of Osman F. Bilge, General Secretary of UFRAD and Chairman of the Board of Franchise & More, and Aycan Helvacıoğlu, Managing Partner of The Franchise Company.
